Alright launching another build today to feel like I did something. Here's what's been changed.
-added more animations to the player and grass
-added more background objects
-lowered enemy health
-added a new area in the level. probably just a placeholder for now
-new tiles
-changed the height of one of the tunnel's ceilings
-added a little more to the starting room
-fixed footsteps sound
-fixed a bug where the start button could be clicked multiple times
-fixed a bug where an enemy could be hurt by walking over it
