Magnetic Marathon Demo Launch!

Hi Everyone! 

Aaron from Artemoose Games here. We are excited to launch the demo of a game we've been noodling on for quite some time. Magnetic Marathon is an autorunner platformer where you are humanity's last hope. Your objective is to run through the solar system collecting essential resources, all while bending gravity to navigate complex terrains.

In its current state, the game is deceptively difficult to play, but the fun lies in rapidly repeating runs to figure out tricky terrain in order to minimize your level complete time while maximizing resource collection. 

There are a lot of things missing from this demo still, but we think the concept has potential. Here's a few examples of design questions we would love input on:

1. The camera and level design is fixed in a single vertical position. Do you think the game would be more fun if the levels had more vertical complexity and the camera moved up/down with the player?  

2. The game is an autorunner. We thought that because the core mechanic is moving gravity up/down, taking the horizontal movement out of the player's hands would both make the game easier to play physically, but add challenge to the gameplay. What are your thoughts? 

3. Under the hood, we're keeping track of level complete times and currency collected, but these haven't been fully incorporated into the demo yet. Would you want to see a leaderboard(s) of different types? 

4. The tutorial and story text is interspersed into the gameplay. While this conceptually fits with the theme of the game, as the player character is keeping a log, it also interrupts gameplay. What are your thoughts? Would you prefer to see all of the tutorial text up front? Or have no text at all?  

We would appreciate any constructive feedback as we consider whether to continue development of this concept.
