This week I was mainly working on a music engine for my game.
During gameplay the music is going to change based on global kills in the round. Adaptive button in the video linked above layers different sounds on top of currently playing loop, this can be used for emphasizing the combo.
I’m planning to upgrade the engine to include game mutators!
Game mutators are going to be different modes making the game a bit harder. The game detects if most players are hitting most of their actions on the beat then game initializes the game mutator.
