Out of the shadows

This weeks devlog of Decimate Drive, a game set in a killer car infested city, is about the upcoming release and some late additions.

Release?

At the moment I'm busy with the last couple of bugs, some late additions and offline playtests. This is going pretty well so... if everything goes according to plan... the game will be released in February or March.

Late additions

One of the late additions are battery pickups. They increase the range of the flashlight for a little while. They're totally optional so you won't be searching for batteries all the time with multiple cars chasing you... because I somehow think that would be more frustrating than fun 😄

There are a bunch of additions like the batteries which weren't in the playtest or demo. So it'll be really interesting to see how they'll play out!

If you're tracking the development of the game I can imagine the last month or so were a bit boring. Thank you for your patience and I hope we can make the coming months way more interesting 😬
