This week, I worked on reworking the mini-game designed for the Feral Roamers raids on the Hills of Discord camp. We have decided to transform it into a basic "Tower Defense" style mini-game, which can be reused later in the game for various scenarios. When a survivor returns to camp, there is a chance that a Feral Roamer raid will occur. In order to defend herself and her friends, Olivia will strategically place traps on a map to prevent a group of raiders from infiltrating the camp. Thus, six new traps have been added to the list of craftable items. These recipes will be learned automatically upon discovering the Hills of Discord camp. Additionally, I have included a new resource for collecting specifically designed for crafting these traps in the game.
Next week, I have exciting plans to revamp and animate the scene where Olivia falls into a chasm, finding herself in an unfortunate situation. Additionally, I will be continuing the development of the mini-game and working on new maps and content for the rest of the story.
