Brinkmanship - January Update
New in this release!
- Act 2 Timer
- To up the ante in the first part of the game, we've added a timer to keep your investigation moving.
- Rather than numbers on the screen, this timer is a bit more abstract and is represented by the scale of the sun your ship is approaching.
- When you've reached halfway we have a little musical stinger to remind you time is ticking, and when time is up, well... you'll have to play to find out. (or watch the gameplay video)
- An Intro
- We've also added a bit of an intro sequence to the game with some on-screen text exposition as any good sci-fi project should.
- The first few beats of the game now have a little more going on with additional visuals to help players get a feel for what's actually going on here.
- The Bridge
- I've also started writing the Bridge scene in earnest again. After taking a step back to chart out the flow of the conversation, I have a much better idea of where things should go. Not too much additional dialogue is in there yet, but future updates should flesh that scene out quite a bit.
