#Pill Platformer #Platformer #2D #Rage-Bait
Dear Gamers,
I am thrilled to announce the official launch of my first game, Pill Platformer! After almost a month of development, testing, and fine-tuning, I’m finally ready to share my unique platformer adventure with you. In Pill Platformer, you play as a pill and embark on a not-so-exciting and more-so-challenging journey through a world of platforms and challenging obstacles.
Game Concept:
Pill Platformer takes a creative spin on the classic platformer genre. The idea was born from a simple question: What if your character was a pill, bringing the challenge and tribulations of movement with it to the 2D Platformer genre? I wanted to create a game that was not only fun (and rage-inducing) but also visually distinctive and imaginative.
Key Features:
Development Journey:
The journey to develop Pill Platformer has been both challenging and rewarding. I worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the game - from the physics of the movement to the background music - was mediocre. I conducted several rounds of player testing to gather feedback, which was invaluable in refining the gameplay and mechanics to make them even more of a challenge.
Special Thanks:
I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to my closed beta testers, whose feedback was instrumental in shaping Pill Platformer into the game it is today. I also want to thank my community for their support and enthusiasm throughout the development process (I have no community yet and wanted to feel special, so I added this last part for me).
Get the Game:
Pill Platformer is currently only available for download on PC. Check out the itch.io page for more details and to get your copy today!
Your Feedback Matters:
As I celebrate the launch of Pill Platformer, I look forward to hearing from you. Your feedback is crucial in helping me improve (or make it more challenging) and evolve the game. Share your experiences, suggest new features, or report any issues you encounter. I am committed to making Pill Platformer the worst-best game it can be.
Happy Gaming!
