Hey slasher fans!
I'm in the process of revisiting the sprites, as I have some issues with them and want to fix them; I would like to hear your feedback and any criticism on this new concept art for the player character/vessels.
The goal for the player's vessel is to be as ambiguous as possible so that a wider range of the audience can have an easier time immersing themselves and relating to their vessel. There was some feedback I received previously; some people pointed out that all the vessels look too white-coded and I definitely do have to agree with that, although that wasn't my original intention. Initially I was mainly focusing on the hairstyles covering most of the faces which seemed easier to do with long, straight hair.
Now that we're in the process of upgrading our assets and such, now is a good time to ask you all for feedback on who you will play as. Your voices are especially important for this.
*just to specify, these are just sketches and may not be the final colour palette, pose, or look.
For those who may have trouble reading the text:

-red/pinkish necklace (not neutral) -kinda tightfitting clothes -thin lips. I would prefer for MC’s sprite to not be coded too much towards one specific race, and for the shared palette to be more gender neutral. | |

> One issue that I can’t tackle very well is body type variants since there are so many posibilities--we will just be sticking to this body type.

By the way, I would like to thank everyone for all the support again. It's really nice to see how much interaction there's been with slasher sim despite the delay! It means a lot to me and the team :)
