Edit: If you cannot tractor turrets, redownload the game, a hotfix has been released.
With release 0.0.0, ShellCore Command Remastered has moved past its beta phase and is finally complete (whatever that word means in game dev). Scroll all the way down for a list of changes.
Here on out I will be focusing on reviewing and accepting pull requests from contributors on GitHub rather than contributing directly. For the future of the community, it's important that there be more than one developer actively making contributions, and I'm also just ready to move on to a new project after 5 years of working on this one. If you're interested in contributing, the best place to start is by looking through the Trello, which I have populated with suggestions I have pre-greenlit. Submitting a pull request for these will almost certainly result in it being accepted.
As for what's next for me, I'll be selecting new moderators for our Discord. From there, I'll be starting work on a new project also based off a series of Flash games from my childhood - Edgebee's Swords & Potions - a business simulation series. If you've played the games Recettear, Moonlighter or Shop Heroes, Swords & Potions and what my game will become are quite similar. If you are interested, join the Discord where I will be providing more information when I will be ready to, or follow me on Twitter.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of this journey. It's been an absolute blast working with fans ranging from newcomers to the series (welcome!) to veterans from way back when Flashbacker was still around, and everyone in between. I've grown a lot and have been given many opportunities thanks to this project, and I'm sure there'll be a day the game gets another major update. See you soon!
