The project needs databases.
Prior to this build, I was using hand typed json files.
This is nice, however it is quite time consuming and cumbersome to enter every data point over and over without a clear form.
With this in mind, I've created a template for all data entry mount within Kalvgv II.
If the game has a major inventory related update, it will make it easier to update, as well.
The process for UI/UX is a tad slow, but it makes major headway for the overall use of the tool.
I'm hoping by February to have the tool ready.
As it stands, I have in total, 600 icons to database based on existing icons I've created for the work alone.
- Efficient item organization

- Visual representation with icons
- Description field for additional notes
- Count display for inventory management
- Sorting options for better organization
- Search mechanism for quick item retrieval
- Saving and loading functionality
- Ability to edit previous items
- Rarity tracking for strategic gameplay

- Cycle button for easy editing
- Streamlined workflow for developers
- Improved user experience for players
The app has this to offer, so far.
1. Category management: Users can assign items to specific categories for better organization.
2. Description field: Users can provide additional information or notes about each item.
3. Count display: Users can see the total number of items stored in the database.
4. Current item position: Users can track their location within the database.
5. Icon display: Users can visually identify and associate icons with each item.
6. Reach and damage fields: Users can specify the reach and damage values for weapons or items.
7. Dice count and dice-sided values: Users can define the dice count and number of sides for damage calculations.
8. Saving and loading: Users can save their progress and retrieve it at a later time.
9. Count cycle button: Users can cycle through items for easy editing or updating.
10. Icon position customization: Users can rearrange the order of icons within the database.
11. Rarity checkbox: Users can designate the rarity level of each item (common, uncommon, rare).
with much more to come.
