V1.16.1 : Minor Update
V1.16.1
Some mostly minor updates. Typos and formatting tweaks, but there were a few substantial changes. Equinox's Fireball incorrectly only affected enemies instead of all characters, and also took the opportunity to update the Thunderclaw's Chain Lightning Strikes into a melee skill attack.
- Aegis > Updated text box.
- Basic Equipment and Techniques > Updated text that references unique abilities.
- Equinox > Exobomb > Fireball > Changed “Enemies” to “Characters”. [Ability was always meant to hit anyone in the AOE, including allies. Having it only hit enemies was an unintentional huge buff for the ability.]
- Knightmare > Night Terrors > Updated wording.
- Paladin > Bastion of Resolve > Updated wording for Guardian Angel component.
- Rimeguard > Frostbite > Frozen> Updated wording.
- Thunderclaw > Lightning Bolt > Updated wording on drained to make it clear that on hit, the target loses MP equal to the total number of characters in the AOE, and you get 1 MP per character hit.
- Thunderclaw > Chain Lightning Strikes > Reworked ability to make it a melee skill attack with the Slow tag. [Mechanically still works the same, but counts as a melee skill attack and has the range/damage in the statline, so it works with some enchantments. This ability was created before skill attacks were even a thing, and while designing supplemental material for Beacon, it was discovered how lacking skill attacks were in the core game, and the fact that Chain Lightning Strikes wasn’t a skill attack, but made skill attacks, was confusing.]
- Protector > Shield Wall > Updated wording to clarify that Brace costs the mana.
