Version 2.8.1-2.8.5 Patch Notes Summary
Thought I'd do a big summary post since I kinda changed a lot yesterday!
OVERALL CHANGES FROM 2.8.0 - 2.8.5
OVERALL CHANGES
- Fixed a lot of online rollback issues for a better online experience
- Made it so the super toggle on the bio screen will swap between "Super Info" and "Char Info" accordingly
- The autoblock option in training mode will function properly with projectiles and will not block during a move.
MOVE CHANGES
- Air Light
- Has a bigger horizontal hitbox
- Air Knife
- Can cancel into air normals earlier
- Air Gun
- Cannot confirm off the longest-range hitbox
- Gunshot comes out slightly faster
- Dash
- Sabotage Super
- Chip damage lowered & capped at 300
- To chip kill with sabotage you'll need to hit with an attack that actually deals chip damage normally
CHARACTER CHANGES
- Black
- EWGF can be buffered out of dash
- Brown
- EX won't hit blocking opponents
- EX hit indicators should function properly
- Olive
- Standing Sus is 2 frames faster
- Teal
- Flame
- Standing Sus juggle adjusted
- Gold
- Juggle decay added to Sus
- Sus has more recovery
- Sky
- Damage reduced
- EX now has startup invincibility
- Fixed EX not counting for extra points in arcade mode
- Apricot
- Fixed EX not counting for extra points in arcade mode
- Character bio changed to describe the crown projectile
- Lavender
- Grab follow-ups damage lowered
- Sus is 2 frames slower
- Sus will whiff against jump-squatting and landing opponents
- Lavender will no longer get more than one "Hype" point per EX or Taunt under specific scenarios
- Lavender's grab will no longer softlock the game vs specific character/super combinations
