I’ve dropped OpenXTalk/LiveCode as the language this game is made in. It was excellent for prototyping with my kid, but the publication is where things went wrong. We had so many problems with it, that we never actually got around to creating the game part of the game.
So after the gamejam, it was rewritten in HTML/JS. Some changes were made. Some spelling errors fixed. The game part was added.
It’s a crypto puzzle that loads in-line with the command line window, and gives the back story.
Things to do: the news app and web browser I would like to get working, along with a proper help command and hints for the puzzles.
