Some rooms that you encounter may now contain lootboxes, chests, rewards, boons! These new and hardly innovative phenomena have a chance to give you an item when opened, and immediately apply it to your body! Enjoy opening a box and having ballet boots thrust upon you, or boxing gloves! Alternatively the box may mercifully unlock or remove one of your restrictive items!
What's more, we now have MORE THAN ONE FLOOR! four, in fact, across two different environments. The new environment has a couple of new enemies and a library of new items themed around latex and vantawhite.
Vantawhite items, they're an experiment in items that have slightly more complicated effects than most. The vantawhite belt, for instance, will seep vantawhite constantly, which will occasionally coalesce into another vantawhite item upon you. Such as the vantawhite boots, which will pull your legs together in a feeble hobble if you are in the presence of enemies.
With this framework in place I should be able to easily make other complex items going forward, and what I'll probably do next is polish up the editors I've been using to make the game's content so they're more usable by the public to tweak the game and its items to their liking.
