Alright! It’s a new year and we’re back (after quite a bit longer than y’all are probably stoked about) with some news! First off, hope everyone had a good Christmas, Hannukah, or whatever gets you going in December, as well as a stellar New Year’s!
Now, with the hellos out of the way, let’s get to business.
Things have been moving a little slow, as I’m sure y’all have noticed. This isn’t because we aren’t working on the game, or because we quit or whatever, so go ahead and toss those thoughts away. I guarantee you; we’re still working on stuff. Things have just been very… VERY busy for all of us the past few months between the holidays and other, personal jazz.
But enough about all that, how about some updates?
Soul has just wrapped up the art for Rupert’s Rampage and is moving on to some additional assets we all thought would be nice to add to the already existing episodes.
Poses and the like. You know. Then after that, it’ll be on to working on Weekend at X.
“I wish the housing market wasn’t so ass, so I wouldn’t have to deal with real-life garbage, and could get more game stuff done sooner."
-Soul
Rodrick has completed the music for Rupert’s Rampage and is currently working on some ambient tracks for future episodes (currently some MoonBase stuff). So... yeah!
“If I'm going to be honest, if it wasn't for me not liking the idea of stock music in the game, I wouldn't have joined the team and my passion for music wouldn't have been rekindled. I'm glad to be a part of this!”
-Rodrick
I’m currently still working on Rupert’s Rampage after reworking a few things and dealing with some nonsense of my own. I'm doing my best to get back into things in full swing now, though.
“How the fuck is it the 15th already??”

Irrelevant has been playing around with a few ways to add more interactive segments to the game. A few little things with player input outside of choices, to liven up the gameplay aspect of things. As well as going back through earlier parts of the game and touching up consistency. We’ve come a long way since the first three episodes of N.O.V.E.L and we want to make sure everything is cleaned up, consistent, and quality.
“Working on N.O.V.E.L is fun and finding more ways to work on N.O.V.E.L is even more fun for me. Dive, that doesn’t sound douchey, does it? Are you still typing?”
-Irrelevant
Aaaaand that about wraps this one up. Nothing toooooo groundbreaking to be said at the moment, but a little news nonetheless!
See ya next time!
