limentional Devlog 7: Movement Improvement
Hello hello,
Many thanks for the wonderful and helpful feedback. A special shout out to lechuga0 and especially Naterest for the detailed feedback and kindness.
Some changes are being rolled out to the movement and gameplay:
- Movement is more responsive and less floaty.
- Increased control of air movement.
- Wall running is faster, accompanied by a camera tilt and sound effect. Friction has been removed, so you can't get stuck on walls or objects.
- You can jump off a wall while wall running.
- There's also a new sound effect when sliding.
Other changes include:
- Slight alterations to the quality settings to make them more distinguishable.
- Any section with floaters: the float power and mass have been increased, so they shouldn't float off, trapping progression. (the puzzle in level 3 has a few weak floaters as a surprise trap ;) )
