Bae Report #1 | Wazzup?!

Bae Game
A browser game made in HTML5

Wassup, rats? It's ya boy kano, here to deliver a brief update on what the heck is up with Bae Game.

You promised us competitive multiplayer chaos, you rat! Where is it?

That's correct. And the answer is: it's coming!

But why is it taking so long? The answer to that question shouldn't surprise you... and it's not because it is hard.

My full-time industry work as a tech lead often takes away a good chunk of my time, even when I have the freedom to bounce between it and personal projects (which I do!). As much as I would like to nail out Bae Game's multiplayer and make peer-to-peer 1v1s possible in like a few days, I also have this thing where I bounce between projects and watch streams. Often at the same time. It isn't that the motivation ebbs and tides either, per se, but rather that it flows between all of the things I take on. You know how it is, right?

Between this, managing HoloJam (which always is a priority for me!), designing cool new colorful music, performing mixes and masters, creating little video clips, and working on another game project -- I can tell you that:

It will come!

... Just, a bit later than you (or I) would like. Teehee!

(If you're a mutual and are interested in helping me with it, feel free to reach out! I'd be happy to get you set up in the repo and deliver it faster.)
