Lusting my religion Version 0.7.5.1 has been released here on Itch!!!
Now you don't have to start a new game to play it! However it's very likely you'll find an error message when playing the newer version, just press Skip or Ignore or Rollback!!! and that's it, you're ready to play the new update
If you prefer, you still can download it from an external source (Google drive)
