Welcome back to the 16th progress report for the enhanced version of Battleground Cleanup!
As I said in a post a while back, the stuff I'm working on is becoming a lot more technical and less interesting the further I get in development.
This week I mostly polished some areas of the game, for example I added some missing sound effects for minor actions, like switching tools or completing a wave.
Background music has also been added to "lobby" areas, such as the main menu and the overview. It's actually not a new original soundtrack, but a slightly edited and pitched down version of the main soundtrack, that can also be heard in the jam version.
Soundtrack "recycling" is actually a kind of common thing in this game, considering the soundtrack down/up pitching for the battle and cleanup state.
Currently I'm working on some new ideas for shop items and I also want to add something special next to the "5 waves" and "10 waves" mode.
I'll be back next week, hopefully with some new shop items in the game.
