Project Twitch V.1.0.2 Update
Heya folks!
I wanted to do another patch after 2 weeks of release. This one will be more substantial than the previous one because there's some balance changes in addition to bug fixes! It will probably be a while before the next patch though, but I will try to come back to this one in time. At the very least, I want to add in drinking side effects.
If you update the game, save data will be preserved!
General Balance Changes:
- Ambush Attack Speed Buff:
- Duration: 5 seconds --> 3 seconds
Side Effect Balance Changes:
- Elastic Bubble (NERF):
- Contact Stun Duration: 1 second -> 0.5 seconds
- Stimulating Stench (NERF)
- Movement Speed Buff Multiplier: 1.75x -> 1.6x
- Ripened Corpse (NERF)
- Gastric Leak (BUFF)
- Increased overall puddle size and duration
- Greater Collapse (BUFF)
- Armor reduction status effect now lingers 2.5 seconds after either poison wears off or enemy gets inflicted with another poison
- Stinky Surprise / Scary Surprise (BUFF)
- General Surprise Cost: 3 seconds of ambush -> 2.5 seconds of ambush
- Sticky Surprise (Change)
- General Surprise Cost: 3 seconds of ambush -> 2.5 seconds of ambush
- General duration went down
- Boiling Blast (Change)
- Added more camera shake and hitstop to make melee attacks feel more impactful
- Crossbow Jam (Change)
- Added more camera shake and hitstop to make melee attacks more powerful
- Added a sound effect to when crossbow jam actually hits an enemy
Bugfixes / Visual Polish
- Twitch's cask will now glow the color of the poison when he creates a side effect
- When ingredients expire, they won't make sound effects
- You can no longer pause during dungeon floor transition which disrupts Twitch's animation
- Warwick will no longer attack the player immediately when player attacks him while Warwick blood hunts an enemy
- Twitch's hurt animations / poses will ALWAYS appear when Twitch gets hurt
- Ensure consistency with Warwick's spawn in animation. He will always dive down now
- Sticky puddles caused by Sticky Surprise / Gastric Leak / Pulsating Cask will now be brighter to be more clear to the player
- Player melee hitboxes will be more clear
- Bushes within the level have been updated to avoid weird vision holes
Next patch will probably take a bit longer. Hope all of these changes make the game better!
