I started working on Ballista around December 15th of 2023. I needed a project to work on while I was on my winter break from college. I had been tossing some game ideas around for a while and I know I wanted to make something small. Something akin to old arcade games. So, I set off on making an asteroids style game. While similar in some aspects Ballista has some features that asteroids didn't, such as the upgrade system. Now that I have all of the core features added it is time for the beta release.
