I've decided to go ahead and remake the game in unity, I'd like to have it playable and uploaded within a week or so. There aren't any planned new features for the update yet but depending how quickly I get things done I may add something.
My reasoning for switching to unity is mainly so that I can port the game to android in the future, and because it's easier to implement certain things with unity.
I also feel like it would be more accessible for people to play being in unity rather than in the console. Plus it will look a little nicer.
