A new version of Emerald Woods, the chill no-combat farming, building, and exploration roguelike, is now available!
Play for free for now (online/windows) at https://slash.itch.io/emerald-woods, even using your phone! we are still in an “Earlier Access” phase, so let us know any suggestions you have in the discord.
If you like the game, you can still become an Early Supporter (only 11 remaining!), and get your name into the game
The major change on 0.4.2, “Guidance”, was the addition of an “Activities” panel, and some items found in the early game, to guide the players into what they are supposed to do in the game (if they want to achieve something other than just living there)
The game actually used to have this info but it was in the HUD and added a lot of noise there, I still think it might be useful to prevent the “what am I supposed to do” question. Again, all of this is optional, some players just want to build some cool house, or randomly explore to find nice stuff.
