Special effects and animations can effectively enhance the visual presentation and immersion of a game, achieving an augmented reality effect visually.
Two methods were used to create glitch effects. The first method involved using Unity's built-in shaders. However, due to limitations in the AR template rendering pipeline, this approach wasn't feasible. Consequently, the second method was adopted, involving the creation of glitch animations in After Effects (AE) and then integrating them into Unity.
