Hello all! Today is Saturday, which means it’s time for a devlog!
- The town map is officially complete and we’ve begun animating it in Live2D.
- The writing for version 0.2 is 80% complete; all that’s left is:
- - Short scenes for Blaine and Iden.
- - Morning conversations with Lifa.
- Finished animating the Blaine scene and started working on integrating it into the game.
- Started integrated the supporting characters into the game.
- Completed all of the initial CG sketches. Started working on finishing a CG for Iden.
- Made sketches of forest backgrounds for combat encounters
- Thanks to our subscribers (and a special promotion in the Opera browser), we were able to boost our Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/WS9AjmZb6u). We now have a little splash screen and a couple of emoticons and stickers (we’ll expand on this in the future).
- Prepared a technical demo for a new minigame (there will be more news about this a little later).
- The debate about the combat system continues to go on…
- Unchained the translator from his desk so he can visit his family for Christmas
- Also, we’re currently urgently searching for a Live2D animator!
