Heya folks! I'm happy to announce the first major publication of my Project Twitch fangame prototype. This is mostly to show what I've been working on for half a year of development in a decently playable state. This project in particular took 4 iterations to get to the root mechanics that I personally felt satisfied with.
The game itself is a mesh of Twitch's original kit from League of Legends and, surprisingly, Aphelios kit since his ammo management system helps give a satisfying risk/reward to Twitch's ambushing. Also, compared to other roguelikes, the plan for this game is that you don't necessarily get physically stronger by simply increasing strengths and powers. In this game, you'll accumulate recipes which increases Twitch's ability to adapt with loot drops and make powerful Poison Vial combinations. The game itself is in a prototype stage with unfinished textures, only 2 actual models, and stock sound effects.
I'll probably work on a game design doc in the near future, but otherwise, I think I'll be taking a break from this project to work on others. If I were to move further, I think I would need an actual art direction and sound direction.
