Chapter 7: Boundaries
It’s time for Nieve to leave the nest. Will she fly?
This chapter was a massive undertaking from start to finish. When I originally wrote it, I was just getting to know the forces at play. It felt a lot like stabbing in the dark, trying to force it into a shape. It has been completely reworked and rewritten to total 35 pages packed with layered dynamics and eldritch horrors.
Laurent and I always spend the whole month working on the chapters, but this time we worked in every free moment from day to night to bang this one out. It was a tremendous effort on both our parts. We’re very excited to be posting it today.
