#Update 3 #Updates #Bug Fixes
Good afternoon everyone!
Today is my Birthday and I'm proud to announce the release of my game, this is the second update I've published for the game including a lot of big changes to how the game works, essentially reworking a few systems within the game.
Since its release last night I'd named the project "Untitled Christmas Game", incredibly original I know, but now I've decided the game will be called...Alone at Christmas. Since it fits the theme pretty well, now that that's announced/released time to get onto what changed in the new update.
I hope you enjoy the updates, a few more tweaks and the game should be complete to my satisfaction soon enough :)
Merry Christmas all!
- Updated Main Menu UI and Setting UI to be more fluid in design
- Updated audio by adding background noise
- Updated a hidden feature to play a secret sound when you play it
- Updated player prefab to now include the camera, which should prevent any issues of the camera losing tracking of the player
- Updated Main Menu scene to include a secret new button
- Updated all scenes to include music
- Updated Main Menu DEV Notes
- Updated Main Menu Title
- Fixed Main Menu UI being buggy, buttons not pressing
- Fixed Pause Menu UI being buggy, buttons not highlighting
- Fixed player Bug in the Main Hallway
- Fixed (?) lighting affecting the player strangely in some rooms
- Fixed Music not playing on game initialise
None to report, else I'd be doing a terrible job lol
- The player movement has been reworked and refined and should have fewer issues with movement feeling sluggish to respond to input
- Reworked Main Menu UI to function with the new audio feature
- Reworked Level lighting in some scenes to be slightly darker
