ZLE v.1.4.2
ZLEA downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
The Squared² update [Part 2] - 1.4.2
What changed?
- Squared can now export generated images in a .squ file format which just contains the object data
- Squared split into 3 tabs: Generate, Image, Video
- The image tab can load .squ files and re-render them to a PNG of any size (since .squ is a vector file format)
- The video tab can combine multiple .squ files into a single .sqv file and play existing .sqv files as videos
- Added the ability to open levels through the level editor
- The new file tab can either create a new level (restart ZLE), open an existing level, save the level, or exit - moved the save and exit buttons to the file menu
- Added right-click on files to open file properties
- Added autocomplete to "input file" in Squared
- Added a GL info button that prints out all available OpenGL extensions, the version, vendor, and some other things
- Added a new "midnight" theme
- Optimized particle random function - increasing performance by about 5%
- Fixed a Linux-only bug that crashes the editor when selecting particles (Linux seems to be really sensitive to some things compared to Windows lol)
- Fixed a Windows-only bug that crashes the editor when creating levels (on the other hand, Windows seems to dislike null bytes more than Linux lol)
- Fixed an issue with font sizes being stretched after a restart
- Fixed file images being partially inside the files tab when setting a font size lower than 16
- Fixed the key Q not deselecting the move/rotate/scale icons
- Fixed a Linux nullptr dereference bug with particle systems
- Fixed the particle texture not being reapplied after changing the max particle count
- Fixed the remove button in particle events not working
