Quality of Life and Gameplay Update

Fort Gingerbread
A browser game made in HTML5

Added some new functionality and features:

  • Main Menu
  • Game can now be paused (press pause button in lower right, or press 'esc' or 'p')
  • Various UI elements to navigate around
  • Enemies now have randomness to their spawn interval.
  • Enemy spawning has now been adjusted where the player will eventually be overwhelmed and lose.
  • "New" Zen Mode option, where you can play with enemy spawning as it was before, that is no randomness and the player can survive indefinitely.
  • Some volume mastering.
  • Added shapes to scene in the background.

I know all my Fort Gingerbread fans have been waiting and screaming for this update to come out, and I'm sorry for the delay I know how you guys feel. I'm also sorry I didn't get all the content in the game that many of you were begging for.  The thing I'm really sorry about though, is that I don't think I will do any more work on Fort Gingerbread. I know a lot of you are gonna be upset, but hey, maybe I'll pick up the project again some day. Anyways, see y'all at The Game Awards. Merry Christmas Happy Holidays.
