Heyo, my final year project presentation is tomorrow, and KILOTON is my final year project. University will soon end. Yey.
So, with the release of Alpha v0.32 Experimental, we now have multiplayer.
The multiplayer right now is gigajank and there are MANY issues, but should be more or less playable. Press the multiplayer button to get right to it. Press start to start a room and press join to… join. The max players are 2 and its more of a duel mode. You may also see a new character in the radio. Don’t mind her.
There’s also a shop now, where you can buy new parts with a currency called Uranium Dollars or U$. So you actually start with Hope’s starter parts and buy the rest. This may be replaced with a different system. The shop lacks feedback because there’s supposed to be a character there to interact with you, but I haven’t had the time because of the presentation deadline.
Gaining currency can be done through performing well and completing the stages in as less time as possible. Uranium Dollars are plenty but Red Mercury is far harder to gain. RM has no use currently.
Thoughts:
Admittedly I need to start working on the actual gameplay content, with more stages that can be repeated but with a whole bunch of fun effects to add. As of right now, 3 stages isn’t much.
