Forest of Flames Version 1.1 is here!
The last few pieces have been finalized, and a new game build and instruction manual are available now.
Significant changes have been made, including:
- A second region, Mossland Thicket, has been added.
- A significant amount of Art has been rework by our talented team, in addition to all the newly created assets.
- An in-game Menu has been added.
- Mystics can now be Upgraded with the experience they receive from collectibles.
- A new type of collectible has been added, Tomes of Knowledge, has been added. Players can now finally experience our expansive lore.
- New mechanic, Runestones, have been added. Hitting these with the Aura spell may cause different effects for each Mystic.
- New Sounds and Music have been added.
Forest of Flames is made by a small team of developers at Webster University. For many on the team, this is their first time working with a team to make games. As such it may not be perfect, but it is made with a lot of passion and effort. We really appreciate everyone in the community that plays it and especially those that give us feedback. We want to keep working on this project and eventually have it be a complete 10-20+ hour experience with 4 full regions and plenty to discover.
