Instead of continuing on with the regular work, I decided to take a break from coding the player, and started working on the main menu.
I decided to go with a mouse style main menu, instead of using the keyboard to navigate.
I have also decided to mess around with some particle effects I have been tinkering with. I am not too sure how I feel about them, but I will 100% be editing the layout and effects in the end product.
I am also messing around with playing music in the background, which I will show off in the future.
For now here are some screenshots of what I have so far, which is not much, but I have begun work on the options, first starting with the ability to switch between two different cursors.
