Update 3, I have added the gun function, the player can pick up the gun later in the level and they will be able to shoot, reload, and pick up ammo. The reload function also has a simple animation and there is also a bullet impact effect. I have also created a simple enemy the player can shoot and destroy. UI has also been updated for the gun script that displays ammo.
