This month's update includes a couple vital steps towards an actual game:
Blatantly ripping off Stardew Valley has been my MO for rapidly implementing most of the features of Serfdom so far, and this crafting menu is no exception. In the future I'll be doing a total overhaul of the UI, but at least learning new recipes and crafting work now.
Until now, everything in Serfdom was confined to the farm map. So this month I put most of my time into building a robust, flexible map traversal system. Now when you leave the farm, you actually go somewhere. And south of the farm, you'll enter v0.1 of my procedurally generated cave.
Next month is likely going to be slower, with the holidays, but likely focused on improvements to the procedural generation system.
