Today is Saturday, which means it’s time for Devlog #2:
- Finished the Lifa CG and sent it to be animated (it’ll be an interactive scene).
- Started implementing the game’s combat system.
- Wrote inserts for the carnivorous plant.
- Fixed critical bugs caused by transitioning from Ren’Py 7.6 to Ren’Py 8.0.3.
- Started sharing some of our colleague’s projects with our players.
- 75% of the writing for Version 0.2 is now ready.
- Started proofreading the completed parts of the writing in preparation for inserting them into the game.
- Completed sketches of Tifa and Ilias’s first meeting.
- Completed sketches for Ilias’s side jobs.
- Completed half of Blaine’s interactive scene.
- Completed the following components of the new map:
- Territory around the castle.
- 7 houses.
- Central square.
- Trade Guild.
- Adventurers Guild.
- Doctor’s house.
- Temple.
- Blaine’s house.
- Smithy.
- Tournament grounds.
- Stable.
- Castle.
- Tavern.
- Fisherman’s house.
- Gave everyone on the team a bowl of rice for their hard work
