Workers have been updated to give more meaning to the player's choices. New workers can be purchased by the player, but workers will no longer be able to freely switch between jobs. More details below.
Worker Homes are a new type of building that can be built for free. Up to 2 workers can live in each Worker Home, providing them a safe place to rest. More importantly, the Worker Homes provide Peasants the ability to take on an available job (Builder, Tax Collector, Mana Miner, or Trader).
Unlike other buildings, Worker Homes can also be auto placed. This option can be toggled on and off, so you can design your Kingdom exactly how you want it or allow some randomness. Any Worker Homes placed in undesirable locations can always be destroyed and rebuilt elsewhere.
Worker Slots represent the amount of workers your Kingdom can sustain for each job type (Builder, Tax Collector, Mana Miner, and Trader). More Worker Slots will be obtained anytime you upgrade your Main Keep, but you can also purchase more slots. Each Worker Slot you purchase will increase the price of the next one, even if it's for a different job type, so choose carefully!
What's a Kingdom without some Peasants? Peasants will live in your Main Keep until there is a Worker Home available for them to move into. Once they have a home and have had a bit of time to settle in, a Peasant will upgrade to a Worker, assuming there is an available job. All of this happens passively, so there is no need to micromanage the Peasants.
While Peasants are waiting for a job, they may occasionally wander around and spend their (not so hard earned) gold to buy items from nearby buildings. These purchased items don't provide the Peasant any benefits, except to make them happy, but the gold they spend will contribute a small part to your Kingdom's wealth.

Heroes are now voiced and will say a line when they are clicked on. There are currently over 80 unique lines of dialogue (not counting the different voices as different lines). Some lines can be said by any hero and some are specific to certain classes.
Workers and Guards are not voiced yet, but this will be added in a future update.
A significant number of small changes have been made, most not worth mentioning, but here are some of the bigger ones.
