Dungeon of Numeromancy - Improve My Game Jam 30
The Dungeon of Numeromancy was one of my first game projects, and it lacked polish in several areas. Participating in Improve My Game Jam 30 created a great opportunity to refine the game and make the overall experience better.
Major Changes:
- Implemented shadows and light effects to enhance the atmosphere.
- Added a timer to improve the pace of the game. As time runs out, earthquakes become more frequent.
- Improved the UI, featuring a player icon at the top, a display of collected items, a health bar, and a timer.
- Enhanced combat visuals, including screen shake and impactful attacks on enemies.
- Introduced a difficulty selection: Easy, Normal, Deadly.
- Overhauled level design: the dungeon is split into 4 floors.
Minor Changes:
- Upgraded tile graphics.
- Improved sprites.
