The Best Kanji Game Ever - Japanese Learners

I made this kanji study game in the style of a retro platform runner. 

What I wanted to achieve was:

• to make the characters cute and interesting. I included an old favorite in Kappa, a strange creature in Amabie, and a tribute to my favorite Instagram Japanese teacher in "Snake-sensei."
• I also wanted to make the game user-friendly. To do this I included an input field so you can search for the specific kanji you're interested in, and I let you choose the kanji you see each time you play. 
• I also wanted to make it short and sweet. To play through one stage takes less than 5 minutes, if you don't get any wrong. But even if you struggle, it won't take more than 10 minutes to get through one play through.
