Rhythmic Hypnosis v0.0.6 has just gone live!
This is the first version of the game with music! Ardolf has contributed a lovely looping background track that fits the game quite incredibly well!
...and then I went and messed it up with speed- and pitch-changes and synchronization issues! Oh, the horror! It turns out it's pretty hard to keep music in time with gameplay, if you didn't start off writing your game logic to time itself to the music playback! Little skips, lag here and there, floating-point imprecision... anything and everything can cause the two to be shoved just slightly out of sync. The fact that I constantly change the speed (and pitch) of the music to match the BPM changes that my game makes sure doesn't help the matter. Luckily, it still sounds and plays pretty decently, especially for a nice, relaxing, slow-paced session.
Massive, MASSIVE thanks to Ardolf for creating the track! I owe 'em lots!! It's absolutely incredible.
