Drag & Drop, Sounds and Other Improvements

Sandwich Restaurant Simulator
A browser game made in HTML5

What's new?

A new version (v1.1.0 b2-181123) of the Sandwich Restaurant Simulator is now playable on your browser!

Sounds have been implemented, even if some of them are still missing.

Ingredients are now subdivided based on their type and drag and drop is now fully implemented.

Also, some new ingredients have been added.

Let's new see every new feature in detail!

Drag and Drop

You can now drag and drop ingredient from the selectors to the cutting board to add them to your sandwich.

You can also drag the ingredients to move them up and down in the sandwich or to remove them from the sandwich.

New Ingredients

Here are the new ingredients I've implemented with this update:

Tutorial Menu

The tutorial menu has been improved and all the translations for the texts have been provided.

Sounds

Sounds have been finally implemented, though not everything has a sound yet.

The great majority of the ingredients have a sound, as well as buttons.

You can disable sound by toggling on and off the proper button in the settings panel.

Ingredients Subdivision

Ingredients are now subdivided into five different types: Bakery Products, Meats, Vegetables, Dairy Products and Sauces.

You can now reach every ingredient page more easily by pressing the newly added tab buttons.

Bug Fixes and Other Techincal Features:

  •  Turns out I had left enabled some debug features in the previous version, so you could change your level with the press of two keys...luckily nobody seems to have notices it...they are not a thing anymore  :)
  • Customers could ask you weird sandwiches that could, for example, be made only with bread and a sauce. Now the system is a little more complex and it should avoid this kind of situations

That's it for this devlog. Thanks for reading the post and have a nice day!
