What's new?
Main menu screen. Now when you enter the game you will see the main menu where you can start a new game or continue an old save.
Character Creation. You will be able to create your own character and dive deeper into the world:
Character saving. You can create new characters without losing old ones
Charges for actions. Some actions can now accumulate charges
New spell. There is a new addition to the spell list! Freeze Blast spell has been added:
Improvements to existing spells. You will now be able to improve several existing spells:
New action. Added throw Rock action (cannot be obtained without cheats).
Visual indicators. Attacks will become clearer with new indicators that can tell you what to do. They appear on the pop-up text during an attack. This is true for saving throws as well:
AI update. Npcs now have the rudiments of collective intelligence (works only for goblins and wolves so far).
Tips. Various hints on game mechanics are shown during loading.
Info. In the player menu in the Other tab there is a switch for debug information, as well as a button to save and exit to the main menu.
Sounds. New sounds have been added
Changes:
Enemy Navigation. Navigation of npcs has been drastically redesigned. Now they bypass other creatures, as well as looking for a path appropriate to their size
Actions. All actions related to weapons have been redesigned
Magic damage. The damage from magic missles has been reduced from 1d10 + int.mod to 1d6
+ 1/2 * int.mod
Damage from aoe actions. Damage from aoe actions is now counted once for each creature regardless of their size.
Trolls. Trolls now have a unique yi, as well as the ability to spew chilling breath and throw stones (now they are really dangerous).
Relationships between creatures. The relationship of npcs between each other was redone, now most of them are not the player's highest priority target
Bugs. Some bugs have been fixed, as well as some hidden innovations and changes.
