Patch Notes : 2.07 : 15/11/2023 : Beta Test Build 3
• General Changes
o Updated UI
o Added new sounds for the Player.
o Added new sounds to Penathos.
o Added new VFX to the Boss.
o Added new VFX to the Player.
o A ton of new animations
o Improved performance across all instances.
o New lighting changes
• Reworked Tutorial
o Reworked the old tutorial to make it more engaging, and optional.
Onto the Changes for Penathos!
• Shield Changes
o Shield health increased from 35 -> 310
o Shield pulse rate increased from 2 -> 3.5
• Swipe Attacks
o Hitbox increased in size by 5%
o Damage increased from 10 -> 15
• Laser Attack
o Laser now Staggers the Player
Laser has a new mechanic!
o Being hit by the laser, drags the player into the boss.
• Ultimate Charge Pillar Projectiles
o Frequency and range increased
o Damage decrease from 10 -> 5
Time for The Dreamer!
• Player Core Changes
o Stagger Damage Multiplier decreased from 1.5x -> 1.15x
o Gave the Dreamer a Skirt
o Made the Dreamer’s Sword pretty
• Dream Stab
o Damage increased per charge increased from 50 -> 100
o Charge delay increased from 0.1 seconds -> 0.5 seconds
o Stagger damage decreased from 15 -> 0
o Time to reach Max Charge decreased from 7 seconds -> 2 seconds
• Ranged Attack
o Essence cost increased from 1 -> 2
o Lifespan of Ranged Attack increased from 0.5 -> 0.75
o Ranged Attack Travel Speed increased from 6000 -> 8000
• Bug Fixes
o Fixed more instances of collision between the player and the boss that would result in the player being thrown across the arena.
o Fixed more instances of the Boss submerging out of the water, outside bounds.
o Fixed most instances of the Boss not attacking for a period of time after using the ultimate, during Phase 2.
o Fixed Penathos’ Shield during the Ultimate Charge breaking too early by certain attacks.
o Fixed Navmesh being unloaded during level loading.
o Improved tracking on triple slam.
o Player now carves Navmesh.
o Ultimate Shield no longer carves Navmesh.
o Fixed Penathos’ AoE attack causing him to double cast other abilities.
o Fixed Penathos animation spamming.
o Fixed Shield not properly detecting collision from the Player’s ranged attack.
o Addressed Penathos submerging from under the player, still requires further attention.
Known Issues:
Penathos occasionally will not attack the player during Phase 2.
