Hey guys,
I made a smaller patch / upgrade release and it's out now! This patch addresses couple of small issues and adds a settings screen.
Why I decided to create this release? Well, from the get-go the game had some nasty rendering artifacts / anti-aliasing issue with the WebGL build but also the game has lacking a settings screen from which you could control the audio. I also afterwards noticed I made a small boo-boo with the 0.2 release when I added the death effect with transparency. That actually caused some unwanted see through issues (which were of course only visual, but nonetheless unintentional). So I fixed those as well.
Oh, and I added the health bar for the trees so now you realize that with a flamethrower you can do damage to them!
So, not exactly a full set of new features but a small patch. I also worked a bit on the popup and view system so I refactored the old game jam clunky and hard coded popup "system" I had. Now I can better support flow control and popups in different states of the game. Not that this probably ever gets so complex, but it's now still like it's supposed to be. I would be really interested to hear how you control yours if you happen to use Unity. Please, let me know in the comments.
