Attached some screenshots as development is now fully underway.
Implemented rudimentary splash screen, rudimentary menu system, and main player game window.
Main player game window has a HUD that fades in an out based on mouse movement. Movement controls have also been implemented for both KBM and game controller. Main player game window also has the capability to load in various maps for the different game encounters.
Rudimentary lighting is also complete, as dankcrypt will be a pretty dark game overall. Will work on appropriate finishing the combat arena for the first boss encounter.
Later down the road, will implement the original RPG mechanics and ruleset from the original dankcrypt RPG engine written in Python.
Currently, development is primarily happening on OSX, so only a .dmg is available for download to try out the barebones game so far.
