Version 0.0.3 is the final release for this game outside of bug fixes reported by players.

The final feature release of Tank Turret VR is ready!

New Stuff

• Added animated tank tracks to the enemies.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug with incoming enemy projectiles not hitting accurately during rotations.

Installation

To install the game onto your Meta Quest you'll need to be able to "Side Load".  I highly recommend that you use a tool such as SideQuest for this:

I've tested the game on Quest 1 & Quest 2 hardware and it performs well on both headsets.

What's Next

I started making Tank Turret VR back in 2020 during the global pandemic as a small prototype for VR Tank games. 

• My goal was to make a small seated Tank Turret simulation.
• The scope of the game was limited to a simple tower defence concept.

I am very happy with the progress that I made and everything that I learned while making Tank Turret VR.

• I feel the game/experience has reached feature completeness.

It is now time to move on to another VR game!
