Update v0.10!
Finally, a big update and a nice step towards a goal I set for myself forever ago already, haha.
Features, Fixes, and Changes:
- overhauled the main menu
- overhauled the wave system under the hood
- added more effects, sounds, and music!!
- added exp back and silver (money) for player card / future updates
- added even more menus to make the user experience more seamless and to prepare for future versions (player card and gumball machine)
- added a few new enemies and such for later (currently inaccessible) waves
- added back single-player
- added high score persistence
- added options to main menu
- added multiplayer version check
- added waves 11-20 back
- fixed enemy ai to dynamically change who they're following
- fixed up client laggy-ness and many strange behaviors
- fixed game starting even when players were not ready
- fixed dozens of more little or big bugs (again)
- tweaked and optimized a ton of code (I can NOT emphasize this enough) (this is probably even more than last time)
- changed numerous texts and titles
- changed the games font to one that has more character support and consistency
- changed developer name on the splash screen
- most enemies now have a chance to spawn health
- paved a lot for future updates in features and content
- did major rebalancing to enemies and aspects of the player
- so many more little things I forgot to document
Known Bugs:
- game will occasionally freeze when un focusing the window in full-screen mode
- game must be extracted into fresh folder to work properly
- a few audio clips are unbalanced and one or two won't play on clients that aren't the host
- waves are very unbalanced (esp. 11-20)
- boss notification does not appear on clients that aren't the host
- - settings are not persistent
