Week 7 Dev Log: Oct. 30 - Nov. 5

Decisions:
- Level 2
- Reduce size of spider area and move up spider webs
- For wall add painting of boiler room door to indicate next level
- Highlights
- Re-haul highlights since current ones require high quality graphics card
- Current ones may cause game issues
- Direction
- Add dolly camera for all puzzles
- Try implementation for arrow guiding to next clipboard
- Level 3
Obstacles / Things to Consider:
- Conditional cinematics for dolly camera depending on which puzzle solution was picked
- Whether highlights with blur are currently feasible for target devices
- Level 3 time constraints
- Additional solutions for current puzzles
Progress:
- Implemented core Woody animations
- Added initial dolly camera movements in level 1 to help guide players
- Improved hint system
- Priority hint letters for words with multiple solutions to prevent hinting away from certain solutions
- Hint letters can now be removed to prevent from “locking a player in” to a certain letter
- Added tooltip for first usage of hint
- Fixed minor bugs
- Overlapping interactable objects now always work on closest
- Can no longer draw in air (movable objects erase their markings when moved)
- Implemented box puzzle in first level
- New room textures
