Brushes v2.0
Every brush has been updated.
Notably, a new dither brush has been introduced, and the old brush is now called dither-old.bs.
While the newer dither brush mostly supercedes the old one, I have maintained the old one in the interest of preserving its buggy dither pattern.
Changelog
- Brushes (especially the dithering brushes) should be faster.
- The Opacity by Pressure setting is now a slider from 0 to 100.
When set from 1-100, it is the pen pressure percentage where you will draw at max opacity.
(For example, setting it to 50 means you only need to draw at 50% pressure to get 100% opacity.)
This should make it easier to use with the Opacity Steps setting.
- The existing dither brush has been renamed to dither-old.bs.
- Bugfix: The old dither brush now uses your opacity setting when drawing.
- The existing settings on dither-old.bs have been updated to match the new brushes.
- dither-old.bs now allows selecting a Pattern Size of 1.
- Added a new pair of brushes, dither.bs and dither2.bs.
- dither.bs only has power-of-2 dither patterns, while dither2.bs has square patterns from 2×2 to 7×7. Both brushes have more flexibility than the old one.
- The drawing behavior of hatch2.bs has been altered. It should be a little easier to draw at smaller sizes and/or with pressure, but you may occasionally get “stray” marks again.
- hatch2.bs now has Pressure by Opacity and Opacity Steps options.
- The maximum spacing size has been increased to 16 by default.
- The Mirror Angle setting has been adjusted so setting Main Angle and Mirror Angle to the same number results in perpendicular angles.
