I am an extremely fast worker and I somewhat live in that little window before a task is about to reach its deadline. This has led me to procrastinate on assignments because I know I can complete them so quickly. Furthermore, the quality of my assignments suffers because of the time restriction. I’ve started to painfully do a little bit of work at a time over a week to increase the quality of what I produce. This tactic only works so well, when you have 7 other courses, due dates start to pile up.
I am someone who suffers from CCC (Chronic Crunch Catastrophes). I’m just not great at managing all my classes together, I tend to procrastinate a lot because of my ADHD, and this makes it hard to reach deadlines. To counteract this, I’ve started using Kanban boards to schedule my tasks throughout the week and this has helped tremendously. Overall, I try to keep reminders on my phone and attempt to continuously check my email.
